Books have been written on this issue, and the contention and disagreement about where the "hot" slot games are placed in the casino are still taking place - sixty years after slot machines were 1st added to the gaming floor in casinos.

The traditional rule is that the superior slot games were positioned just inside the main door of the casino; so that persons walking by would see jackpot winners and be inspired to come into the casino ... play. Our point of view is that this is not so anymore.
